Multidisciplinary Team Aims to Give BCI® a New Dynamic
The kick off meeting of the new Business management team took place on the 30th of July. In the presence of its founder and current President Leandro Pereira, PhD, and its CEO Renato Lopes da Costa, PhD, the new team led by Vice-President Horácio Lopes participated in a small program of strategic orientation and alignment, giving it total legitimacy for the role they will play from now on.
The multidisciplinary team is composed of Ana Mafalda Guerra, Carmen Cruz, Catarina Rebocho, Catarina Teixeira and Sara Silva, who together will ensure the management of the institute's activity in its various areas of intervention, Management, Members, Delegations, Publications, Training, Certifications , Events, Communication, Marketing and Research.
President Leandro Pereira, Phd congratulated the team for having managed in such a short time to develop such a comprehensive and solid structure under which all the work will be supported, having also shared a bit of the history of BCI®, as well as perspectives for the future and main strategic guidelines. He also highlighted the merit of Vice President Horácio Lopes for his ability to bring ideas to life and put the machine into operation.
Renato Lopes da Costa, Phd highlighted the importance of united team and work done with passion and involvement, critical success factors of any project and which, applauding, he notes are already present in this very recent team.
For his part, Horácio Lopes drew attention to the importance of realization. It is through implemented actions that experience is developed and data is collected to transform it into valuable information that allows for better decisions to be taken in the future, therefore, the focus of its coordination is on the implementation of actions.
With different levels of professional and academic experience, this new management team's main objective is to make BCI® dynamic by creating value, materialized through the increase of competences in the business case with the dissemination of knowledge, training actions, promotion of contacts worldwide and improving organizational performance by certifying business case consultants.
The work plan will be revealed in stages and the (several) actions already planned will be made public over time, with disclosure on the website and through BCI's social networks.
